Return and Refund Policy

Sister Kode's Returns & Refunds Policy

At Sister Kode, we want you to absolutely love your purchases and truly feel amazing in them! That's why we offer a 14-day return policy for a change of mind, giving you 14 days after receiving your item to request a return if it's not quite right.

Eligibility for a Smooth Return:

To be eligible for a return, your item needs to be in its original, beautiful condition: unworn or unused, with all tags attached, and in its original packaging. Please also have your receipt or proof of purchase handy.

How to Start a Return:

Ready to start a return? Simply reach out to us at hello@sisterkode.com.au, and we'll happily guide you through the process. Once your return is accepted, we will send you a pre-paid return shipping label, along with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package.

Damages and Issues (We're Here to Help!):

Oh dear, we're so sorry if something isn't perfect! Please take a moment to inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately at hello@sisterkode.com.au so we can swiftly evaluate the issue and make it right for you.

A Few Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:

While we want you to love everything, some items are not eligible for return for hygiene or customisation reasons. This includes:

 * Intimates (such as underwear, breastfeeding items, and period products)

 * Food or drink items

 * Custom products (like special orders)

 * Personal care goods (such as beauty products)

 * Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases (for safety reasons)

Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns about a specific item before purchasing. Please note, unfortunately, sale items and gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned.

Exchanges (Quickest Way to Get What You Want):

Need a different size or style? The quickest and easiest way to ensure you get exactly what you want is to return the item you have. Once your return is accepted, you can then make a separate, new purchase for your desired item.

Refunds:

Once we receive and lovingly inspect your return, we'll send you an email notification to let you know the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be automatically processed and applied to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please keep in mind that it might take a little extra time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return and you haven't received it, please don't hesitate to contact us at hello@sisterkode.com.au, and we'll happily assist.

Your Consumer Rights (Australian Consumer Law)

Our returns policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This means that while our 14-day policy covers 'change of mind' returns, the ACL covers issues where the product is faulty or doesn't meet consumer guarantees. For more information on your rights as a consumer, please visit the ACCC website.
